Some restorations are tougher than others. This wallet-sized photo spent 20 years in a workingman's wallet--then 10 more years in a box in the attic. Finally, in 2001 someone scanned the original under unknown conditions and promptly lost it. While the results are not perfect, especially with the enlargement and the quality of the scan, the owner was thrilled to have this memory preserved.
Jobs like this one, due to the poor quality of the scan and the condition of the file, require some discussion of what is possible and what expectations are before the amount of work to be done can be ascertained.

Please expect additional charges for photos with lost details or color faded or stained to the point that original colors can no longer be detected. "See the results before you pay" applies only to photos that do not require replacing details missing from your original. A good faith deposit of 50% of the total job cost will be required when details or colors must be recreated.
